CBO Projects named Guernsey’s Best Workplace and awarded Spotlight on Wellbeing
View all

We’re proud to share that we have been recognised as Guernsey’s Best Workplace (Small Business) and awarded Spotlight on Wellbeing at the inaugural Guernsey’s Best Workplace Awards.

The awards recognise organisations that are seen by their own employees as great places to work, with winners selected based on independently gathered employee feedback across areas including job satisfaction, wellbeing, communication, and development.

Being named Guernsey’s Best Workplace in the small business category, alongside receiving recognition for our focus on wellbeing, reflects the culture our team continues to build together.

Philip Smith, CEO of CBO Projects, said:

“We didn’t enter this for the awards, we did it to get a clear view of how things are really working day to day. The feedback being so positive is something we’re proud of, and it’s a reflection of the focus everyone at CBO puts into building the right culture. But we’re just as focused on where we can be better. That’s what really matters.”

The Guernsey’s Best Workplace initiative gives organisations the opportunity to understand how employees feel about their workplace through confidential surveys and benchmarking against other businesses across the island. The results provide valuable insights into areas such as wellbeing, empowerment, communication, and personal pride in the workplace.

For us, this recognition is particularly meaningful because it reflects the views of our team. We have always believed that strong delivery begins with strong foundations — trust, flexibility, collaboration, and meaningful work.

These awards are not just a milestone, but an opportunity to reflect, learn, and continue improving. As we grow across the Channel Islands, we remain focused on creating an environment where people feel supported, valued, and able to do their best work.

This recognition belongs to our team, whose commitment to supporting one another and delivering high-quality work continues to shape who we are as a business.
