CBO Projects promotes new director

Business transformation and change management expert Dominic Ash has been promoted to director, to lead two key service lines at CBO.

Mr Ash, who previously worked for a London-based management consultancy firm, joins the management team with a specific focus on maturing the Consultancy and Change Management service lines, leading business development activity, guiding relevant work and developing the internal team’s skills and capabilities.

‘It’s exciting times at CBO, we’re a small local firm with a big footprint, we’re growing, and this combination enables us to work in client-side roles across a diverse portfolio of clients,’ said Mr Ash.

‘Maturing the service lines is a key part of our business plan and allows us to support our clients with their most challenging and complex projects and change programmes.’

Mr Ash has worked on large-scale transformation programmes both in the UK and in the Channel Islands. He has hands-on experience of project and programme management and delivering consulting and change management projects across a variety of sectors and industries.

‘Dom is a huge asset to CBO and is the perfect person to develop our consultancy and change management service lines as we look to build on our strong foundations and mature the services we offer to the market. I have complete confidence in Dom to help deliver successful outcomes for our clients and for us at CBO,’ said founder and CEO, Philip Smith.

Mr Ash has worked at CBO for the last two and a half years, as a senior consultant. He has 20 years’ experience working within management consultancy in the UK. Prior to relocating home to Guernsey, the Old Elizabethan worked for eight years at The Berkeley Partnership in London, leading transformation programmes and delivering projects, working with senior clients in blue-chip organisations ranging across the finance, legal, insurance, IT, retail, regulatory and utilities industries as well as the public sector.

‘I like the fact that CBO has no agenda, other than the client’s agenda. I’m looking forward to helping shape and grow the business alongside our team of talented individuals and working collaboratively with our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.’ said Mr Ash.

Mr Ash, who is married with three children, holds the following industry qualifications: APMG Change Management – Practitioner Certified (2020), Project Management Qualification (PMQ) Certified (2018) and PRINCE2 Practitioner Certified (2009).
