Consultant with wealth of retail and global payments experience joins CBO

Abigail Mason has been appointed to the role of consultant at CBO.

With a wealth of experience in the retail and global payments sectors she aims to bring a sharp focus to delivering fit-for-purpose solutions and analysis with minimal impact on clients’ day-to-day operations.

Her previous roles are varied, and include projects, product development, regulatory change, and operational support functions.

‘I have first-hand knowledge of working with large operational teams and developing new products and processes within them. This has lead me to hone my skills in working on complex processes and issues and identifying the best solutions to meet client needs,’ she said.

‘Having previously worked for large organisations where quality could take a back seat over timeful delivery, CBO’s tailored, collaborative approach and commitment to high quality service was a huge attraction.

‘I’m most looking forward to working on varied projects, getting to know new clients, and expanding my knowledge in the financial services sectors. Operational efficiency is a passion of mine, so I’m very much looking forward to shining the spotlight on that area and bringing positive and forward-thinking change to those teams.’

Abigail, an AgilePM Practitioner and SAFe PO/PM Certified, has worked previously in roles at American Express FX International Payments in various positions, as well as being the global retail operations technical coordinator for The Body Shop International.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, hiking and sea swimming.
