Putting experience to work

At CBO Projects we love what we do, we love sharing how we can help organisations and we love shouting from roof tops about the fast-paced and varied nature of working within management consultancy. Most of all we love being able show people first-hand what a stimulating career with CBO will be like. So it was with great excitement we welcomed Adam, a year 12 student at Elizabeth College, for a work experience week earlier in the Summer.

At CBO we’ve created a work experience programme that gives students a genuine insight into what working in this industry is like. Students get to work alongside our consultants, visiting client sites, contributing to meetings, and leading meaningful pieces of work to help them better understand how we provide value to, and support our clients.

And let’s be honest, it’s a two-way process that benefits us too. Our staff enjoy being part of this mentoring experience and they take a lot of pride in it. We’re excited about our industry and want to spread the word. It’s important for us to be inspiring the next generation of talent, building a pipeline of potential recruits for the future.

See how Adam found this experience in a short video that he made at the end of his week. If you’d like to know more about work experience, careers at CBO, or how we could support your organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
