We build long-lasting relationships with many charities, and Alderney Wildlife Trust is one of them. Principal Consultant David Palzeaird started volunteering with them 6 years ago and is still going strong today, plus he’s brought more of the CBO team on board!

We were delighted to join AWT staff and volunteers to help renew access to the woodland’s Orchard and Historic trails. We helped widen paths, clear and make safe wind damaged trees. Timber was removed for use in constructing benches. Some of us even learnt to use new power tools and put existing experience into use, especially in clearing the dense scrub that has encroached onto the paths. What can we say, we’ve got many hidden talents!
