Covid-19: our response

In response to the Coronavirus pandemic and the impact on people, communities, business and infrastructure across the world, we wanted to provide an update on our response at CBO.

Guernsey recently joined the growing majority of countries with its first case. At CBO we continue to monitor the situation and we are following the States of Guernsey and Public Health Services advice in terms of our internal Covid-19 response.

Our priority at this time is the health and wellbeing of our staff, our clients and the wider community.

Despite the current challenges, CBO continues to operate with the same level of quality and client service. The majority of our team continues to work on-site, in strict accordance with our clients’ policies, and that will not change until the States of Guernsey advice or client policy changes.

We are extremely fortunate in that not only is our industry one of the industries where remote working is very common, but our own IT infrastructure already enables us to work remotely and securely. Each CBO team member is equipped to have fully-functioning home working setups, and we have provided dedicated 4G routers across our team to ensure reliable and resilient connectivity is in place during this period (on top of home internet access).

It goes without saying that during any remote working the CBO team ensures ongoing adherence to data protection, information security and cyber security obligations.

We are confident that we are taking every necessary step to protect our community and continue to support our clients. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Please continue to look after yourselves and your community.
